Equal parts bold, tender, and twangy, “#1Hussy” is a honky-tonk-inspired anthem that turns the classic cheatin’ song on its head. It’s drawn from D’orjay’s lived experience with ethical non-monogamy, radical honesty, and expansive love — delivered with charm, grit, and a whole lot of heart. The track features her powerhouse 7-piece band The Lovely Luvies Fam, with a fiery fiddle performance from Darla Daniels that cuts through like prairie lightning. It’s the kind of song that invites you in with a wink, then hits you with depth — built on humour, heat, and storytelling that leaves a mark.

D’orjay The Singing Shaman came to music later than most — after years of helping others heal and unpacking her own history, she stepped on stage professionally for the first time at 35. Since then, she’s been blazing her own trail, writing songs that are fearless, personal, and full of emotion. Her sound pays tribute to the classic country she was raised on in rural Alberta, while also breaking boundaries and redefining what country music can be. As a Black, Queer artist, D’orjay is outspoken and deeply committed to expanding the genre’s definitions — bringing more representation, honesty, and soul to the stage.
