Albany, NY metalcore band Downswing released a new single, “At My Worst,” and the title couldn’t be more ironic. “At My Worst” is Downswing at their best. The quartet delivers an explosive, hook-driven masterclass that nails the balance between heaviness and accessibility, delivering every line with a knife-point urgency. With this track, Downswing cement their place among the sharpest writers in melodic metalcore right now.

The band says, “‘At My Worst’ at its core is about the struggle to find and maintain balance in all aspects of life. Trying to chase the hopes and dreams you once saw yourself attaining, but not fully realizing what the true cost of that was and how it would impact other aspects of your life.”
