Dream State Release Their Huge, Brand New Single “Primrose”
Welsh four-piece DREAM STATE have released their brilliant new single"Primrose" on Wednesday 10th July through UNFD. You can watch the video for the new song here and stream/purchase it here. Along with the recent "Hand In Hand" single (listen to it here), it is the first taste of new music from the band since their debut "Recovery" EP (20 million streams and counting) back in 2018.
The band have now finished recording their debut album with producer Dan Weller(Enter Shikari), and it is set to be released later this year. More news on that coming very soon.
DREAM STATE vocalist CJ shared on the new single: "Sometimes life will put you to the test, we can find ourselves in these cycles and they present themselves in different forms, when I thought I had broken one of mine, I found myself right back at square one, I was in pursuit of pleasure despite the negative outcomes and I found myself trapped again".
She added: "Sometimes we have to fall and fall to truly awaken and conquer our egos. There's still so much we have to learn about ourselves and this is a chance to express my journey and open the door to anyone fighting the same demons. We want you to see that through darkness, light can be found".
About the recent confirmed departure of original bass player Danny Lewis, guitarist Aled shared: "Unfortunately we're having to say goodbye to our friend and bassist Danny, as he has decided to focus his time on his wonderful family. We wish him all the best with his future and we'll miss him dearly!"
