Drenge releases new videoclip

The video for Drenge’s ‘We Can Do What We Want’ has gone live and it’s bloody brilliant!

Drenge premiere the incendiary video for their single We Can Do What We Want, the first song to be lifted from their eagerly anticipated second album Undertow, due for release on Infectious Music on 6 April. We Can Do What We Want finds a band amplifying their disaffection from the personal to the societal, taking a swipe at a generation lazily refusing to take responsibility for its actions. The video - starring Robert Emms (Warhorse, Kick Ass 2) and directed by Pulse Films’ Ed Lovelace, filmed on 16mm on location in Sheffield - is a provocative and compelling visual juxtaposition that takes the song’s title literally as a gang rampages through town. Lovelace - with his directing partner James Hall as D.A.R.Y.L - has helmed music videos by the likes of Florence & The Machine and the Vaccines, alongside critically acclaimed documentaries Werewolves Across America, Katy Perry’s Part of Me and most recently The Possibilities Are Endless starring Edwyn Collins. We Can Do What We Want is available to buy and as an instant grat track when pre-ordering the album via http://smarturl.it/undertowitunes.
