Dyro and Linney team up for “Obsession” - out now on Dim Mak

Kickstarting their first collaboration, Dyro and Linney deliver the Bass House banger “Obsession,” sporting electric drops with an eager bassline and an infectious vocal hook. The sultry and alluring single comes out on Dim Mak on June 7.

Marking Dyro’s second release on the imprint, and one of Linney’s many appearances on the label, the pairing makes for a blissful and energetic summer anthem.

On the track, Dyro comments; “I’m very excited for my second release with Dim Mak. Not being easily sold when it comes to vocals on my records, it was a big surprise when hearing Linney’s take on my track. I absolutely love her vocal on this. I definitely can’t wait to play this out live...and yeah I guess this could be my next Obsession ;)”

Linney adds; “When I first heard Dyro's instrumental, the musical universe he built felt like I was falling into some sort of a trance - almost like being hypnotized. It reminded me of feeling so focused on something you want, that it gives you tunnel vision. That feeling when the rest of the world fades away and you can only see what's right in front of you! My co-writer Jeff Schoeny and I wanted to lean into that emotion and build upon that intention with the lyrics, melody & vocals. I hope when people hear the song, it inspires them to move and chase whatever dream they're pursuing.”
