"Take Me By The Hand" is the opening track on Echo & The Bunnymen’s majestic forthcoming album, "Apples For Isaac" (due out 18th September 2026), and it’s a mighty calling card from Ian McCulloch and the band.

Flying over the Bunnymen’s unhinged guitar-led groove, Mac’s words spiral like a compendium of unwanted statuses and unneeded life choices. Part aggrieved and part daydream logic, none of them are needed in order to bond - the simplicity of a normal life should do just fine.
