Engrupid Pipol releases new single

Euphoric and with overflowing energy, Engrupid Pipol releases a new video clip of the song titled 'Championz of the Univerz', one of the anthems of their successful second album called "Engrupid Divais", which has granted them transversal recognition and consolidation as one of the most important instrumental progressive metal chilean bands. With this material, the power trio from Santiago begins to lower the curtain on the award-winning production, to begin to focus completely on their already advanced third studio record.

Active from 2000 to 2010 under the name SíFiLiS and from then on with its current label, the group has followed a path of infinite experimentation and musical development, forging their own identity that makes them unique. A path that led them to be nominated for his latest work as one of the finalists in the "Best Metal Artist" category of the 2023 Pulsar Awards, the most important award in Chilean music. For this reason, it was necessary to close this process with a celebration, and no better way to do it than through the audiovisual record of one of their followers' favorite tracks during their live performances, with which they usually open or close their concerts.

“For this particular video, we wanted to rescue that eighties nostalgia of the Chilean metalhead. Showing the everyday life of rehearsals, the Engrupid Pipol's routine, but in a humorous way," says Nacho García, drummer of the triumvirate. The lens of director Ticho Mendoza captured the positive essence and great brotherhood that Kaztrol on guitar and John Dai on bass complete, along with the outstanding technical skill and virtuosity that they put at the service of a piece full of power and adrenaline.

The future is just around the corner and the third album with which they will celebrate their 25 years is scheduled for 2025. It will be a new beginning that will also seek to achieve new objectives, especially aimed at the transition of their art to new latitudes.
