Erin Propp releases The Longing Years

Erin Propp returns with The Longing Years, a deeply personal and musically expansive new album from the Juno nominated, Western Canadian Award winning Winnipeg singer, songwriter, pianist and composer. Across her career, Erin has established herself as an artist capable of moving effortlessly between jazz, contemporary songwriting, folk and gospel inspired textures, always anchored by a voice that is both precise and emotionally immediate. On The Longing Years, she brings those qualities together in what feels like her most intimate and fully realized work to date, exploring desire, change, motherhood, identity and the complicated beauty of becoming.

The album finds Erin stepping forward as a leader from behind the piano, surrounded by an exceptional group of collaborators including Grammy winning Attacca Quartet, Joey Landreth, Fabio Ragnelli and Julian Bradford.
