Eschalon release new single 'Zealot'; Tour with Still Remains announced

Fast emerging tech-metalcore band Eschalon have released their new single / video, 'Zealot'. The band have also announced a UK tour supporting Still Remains on their Of Love and Lunacy 20th anniversary tour, with Devil Sold His Soul. Produced by Jake Ten with additional footage by Luke Bateman and Robin "Dobbin" Thomas, watch the video here: https://youtu.be/RtzIJTDaOG

Zealot is a blistering, high-energy aural assault that challenges the blind allegiance often demanded by faith and tradition. Relentless and unflinching, the track delivers groovy, pulse-pounding riffs and venomous vocals, to mould a raw and uncompromising intensity.

Lyrically, Zealot tears into the dangers of unquestioned belief systems, calling out the chains of indoctrination that are often fastened from birth. It's a furious examination of religious structures that demand obedience, suppress doubt, and vilify curiosity. The song pushes back against the notion of surrendering instincts to archaic doctrines, urging us to break free from blind faith and to question what we’ve been taught. Zealot scathingly flips dogma on its head, highlighting the hypocrisy and self-perpetuating cycles that can exist within rigid belief systems.

Zealot is a call to arms - a sonic revolt against the bindings, a challenge to escape the inherited masks we’re forced to wear, and a reminder that the truths we seek might not be in the heavens, but within ourselves.

“The British bruisers mix metalcore and tech metal in a delightfully vicious and crushing way, angular riffs sounding like they're being crushed through some great mechanical press.” - Metal Hammer
