Best Day Of All Time, out October 9th, is the fifth instalment in Mark Constantine’s musical autobiographies. Following on from the acclaimed Compilation Albums ‘Self Preservation Society’, ‘Instant Replay’, ‘Life’s What You Make It’ and ‘In the Bath’, this stunning triple vinyl, features 31 brand new versions of songs originally recorded between 2001 to 2011, plus 3 additional bonus tracks.

For those new to Lush's Music and Mark Constantine's compilation albums, this record series traces Mark's life through the decades via the songs that shaped it - many of them his own soundtrack while working in the Lush Lab, dreaming up new products. Each release invites both rising artists and longtime friends to put their own iconic spin on these tracks, born not just from Mark's love of music but from a genuine desire to support independent artists on their creative journey.

For the same reason, I like reading translated novels; anything worthy of translation is good, and I figure I get two writers for the price of one. You could think of these albums as translations. They tell you about the artist, and so much about the original.

During this decade I wasn't very well mentally, sadly in one of my worst states! For me, music is the place that I can go if I can’t cope. I just disappear somewhere, with many of these songs as my soundtrack to getting much better. You’ll be treated to a multi-sensory evening with Fragrance Readings and a deep dive into the LUSH Spa, before leaning back for an exclusive first listen to our brand-new album, followed by a captivating live music performance; a wholesome evening to come together and enjoy the magic of music without distractions, in a space designed for rest and real connection.
