Exclusive show Lords of Acid in Europe at Landen Beats

On October 11th, 2014 ‘Lords Of Acid’ is heading for Belgium/Europe for a unique concert at Landen Beats. The concert will be set at a unique location, the old military compound of the Belgian army at Hannuitsesteenweg, Landen (3400), Belgium.

Born in the magical mind of Maurice Engelen (Praga Khan) ‘Lords of Acid’ has been a vast benchmark of electro-industrial music since 1988. And does not need any further introduction since their debut ‘I Sit On Acid’ in that same year. Meanwhile ‘Lords of Acid’ has had a few faces over the last 25 years, but has, with Méa Fisher, now found a face that embodies the concept more than ever before. Méa Fisher: "I'm looking forward to reuniting with Lords of Acid in Belgium, last time I was there I met the nicest people & really got to see Belgium. I can't wait to get back there again where this time I'll be performing, so it’s a double bonus!"

As before, ‘Lords of Acid’ remains a benchmark when it comes to dashing, spicy and daring shows. Just over 2 years ago the group sold out a successful tour in the USA with 50 concerts from New York to Los Angeles.

On October 11th ‘Lords of Acid’ will be joined by ‘Praga Khan’ and ‘The Neon Judgement’. So far no surprise that ‘Praga Khan’ is joining the event. Maurice Engelen, founder and member of ‘Lords of Acid’ and ‘Praga Khan’ explains: “The Belgian audience had to wait 13 years for Lords of Acid to come to Belgium, an extraordinary and long time. Meanwhile Lords of Acid played numerous shows in the US. It will be a special feeling to play in our own backyard again. Especially for Mea Fisher, our American singer who will perform in Belgium for the first time.”

Last but not least ‘The Neon Judgement’ completes the line-up for the evening. Born in the eighties and benchmark for the new wave scene, front men Dirk Da Davo and TB Frank will be playing a set of classics. Formed originally in Leuven, playing in Landen will make them feel (almost) at home.

After the concert, visitors can stay and enjoy a 2 hour dj-set from Dirk Da Davo (Leadsinger, The Neon Judgement).
