After their album Waves (over 3.5M streams) and praised by Les Inrocks, Indie Shuffle, The 405, Rolling Stone, Magic, and Le Monde, Pale Grey today unveils JO, a new character from It Feels Like I Always Knew You.

The new version of the track, revealed this summer at festivals, electrified audiences with a catchy chorus that resonates like a hymn of hope and nostalgia.

JO embodies the latest character in the bus journey imagined by the band. A young teenager, we follow her path and glimpse the challenges of school life- a quest for balance between carefree moments, self-doubt, and awakening to the world; that tension and nonchalance unique to the age when everything seems possible.

This indie pop ballad - produced by Ash Workman (Metronomy, Christine and the Queens, etc.) and mastered by Zino Mikorey (Radiohead, Parcels, Fred Again...) - evokes Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Gorillaz, with a chorus chanted like a children’s choir, a truly unifying anthem.
