Farruko releases "Viaje"

Revered as one of the most prominent artists in the music industry, Farruko continues to solidify his legacy as a Latin urban music icon with his uplifting latest single “Viaje.” The song is available for streaming on all digital platforms.

Trading in his past lifestyle and leaning on his newfound faith, Farruko reflects on his former life — expressing gratitude for all the trials and tribulations he endured. Staying true to his signature musical fusion of contagious electronic, reggaetón and salsa-inspired beats, Farruko sings about how the person he once was helped him become the successful man he is today.

Over hypnotic club synths, lulling vocals and a lyrical nod to salsa legend Hector Lavoe’s classic hit “El Cantante,” Farruko croons about his mission to live a beautiful and marvelous life with no regrets — through the good times and the bad times. In addition, this week deems big for Farruko, as his highly anticipated episode of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert is premiering today. Farruko is closing out this year’s “El Tiny” series in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Farruko was one of the first Latino artists to perform at the iconic “desk” post pandemic.

The iconic singer-songwriter recently teased his powerful single at the 2022 Latin Billboard Latin Music Awards, along with a heart-tugging performance of his newly released “Nazareno (Remix)” featuring Puerto Rican artist Ankhal, one of Latin Urban music’s most revered up and coming artists who made his first public appearance for this special performance after falling victim to gun violence earlier this year and currently unable to walk due to complications from the life changing incident. Farruko scored 4 Latin Billboard awards under the Hot Latin Song of the Year, Latin Rhythm Song of the Year, Sales Song of the Year and Streaming Song of the Year categories for his global hit “Pepas.”
