Free Zorba The Hooligan: New single AMERIKA

FREE ZORBA THE HOOLIGAN was born out of broken bones. Its founder Niko May broke both wrists boxing and was unable to play for several months. Rather than put things on hold, he decided to call on his friends Tom Taddei-Davies (drums), Edd Paul (bass), and Alexandre Cachia (guitar) to form a band. Scattered between Paris, Birmingham, and London, FZTH was born. The band set up shop at Villa Mais d'Ici, a cultural wasteland in the suburbs of Paris, where they rehearsed and filmed their first videos.

After releasing their debut EP (BURNER, March 2025), which drew its influences from punk, hardcore, and dub, the band's sound evolved towards something even rawer, more immediate, and instinctive, somewhere between industrial noise and melody. FREE ZORBA THE HOOLIGAN releases a new single today, AMERIKA, which initiates this new direction and announces a series of singles to be released throughout 2026 via Howlin' Banana Records.
