Funk Tribu Serves Up a Punchy Percussive Remix of Boys Noize, TAICHU & Taube’s Hit Single “Shut It Down

 Fresh from the release of his latest “LIFE” EP, Colombia-born, Berlin, based producer Funk Tribu, has not slowed down. His latest offering is a drum-forward trance fused remix of Boys Noize, TAICHU & Taube’s hit single “Shut It Down”. The track has already been doing the rounds at clubs and festivals across the globe and has been much anticipated by fans far and wide.

The single arrives during a particularly prolific spell for Funk Tribu. The DJ, producer and TRIBE label boss has wasted no time following up his EP with a major remix, adding another standout release to an already busy year. Reflecting on the collaboration, Funk Tribu comments: “It’s a huge honor to remix a Boys Noize track. “Shut It Down”, first released in May of this year, brought together three standout names from today’s music scene: dance music royalty Boys Noize, fast rising Argentinian pop artist TAICHU, and emerging Berlin based producer Taube. Carefully curated by Boys Noize himself and released on his own label, the track quickly caught momentum, igniting the crowd at major festivals such as Coachella and Ultra.

Bringing his signature sound and energy to “Shut It Down”, through distorted textures, rolling percussion and sharp synth work, the artist manages to keep the energy of the original intact while injecting it with his signature sound.
