Gangsta Boo & Young M.A Join Nocturnal Sunshine On New Animated Video 'Pull Up'

“Pull Up”s intriguing and distinctively murky tone is now accompanied by a full music video courtesy of Kyiv based animators Melted Face who brush a hazy-vintage color palette via low-fi illustrations.
Renowned for her unique and skillful creative vision Maya Jane Coles latest music video starts 2021 with more color, stylistically capturing video game culture and most critically; a familiar animated aesthetic. The album first teased to her global audience with single “Pull Up” Feat. Gangsta Boo & Young M.A. was a capsule in Maya Jane Coles’ assured, bold production confidence; continuing her line of grungy breakbeats and uncovering new depths in hip-hop and trap-esque realms.
Across the entire LP which is now available on Vinyl; Maya invited a collective of close friends and peers to collaborate; each artist encapsulated in the fresh sound-wall that is upon first listen unquestionably Nocturnal Sunshine, reflective in class and focused in statement.
The album that opened with a cinematic and acutely pensive feel through ‘Wildfire’ moved through downtempo affairs and Jungle-esque breaks. Calling upon similar rave influences Queer Alt Queen, Peaches featured on ‘Possessed’, before the haunting and enigmatic vocals of singer-song writer Chelou takes hold on closing track ‘Something About Drama’
Elsewhere, the world of Nocturnal Sunshine unfolds in differing forms, introducing the wraithlike yet delicate vocals of Ry X on the experimental ‘Gravity’ and the soulful leaning chords of Thomas Knights on ‘Closed Eyes’.
