Brazilian shredder Luis Maldonalle is back with his latest album, FURIA, set to be released on March 17th by Tree House Records. The record features 10 tracks and was produced by Lucas Arbalest, with the artwork designed by Pedro Costa. This is Maldonalle's third offering, following the success of "Maestro" and "Live in England", released in 2022.

In a recent interview, Maldonalle shared his excitement about the creative process behind FURIA, saying "the whole creative process is pretty much exciting, because I have no idea how it's gonna work. But everything sounds like a fluid and magic writing process, so I follow the course and add the elements that are so usual and important for me in my own process. And I'm very glad for that."

The album's title, FURIA, represents intensity and energy, and Maldonalle ensured that these themes were central to the album. "So, that's why I decided to write heavy modern and melodic songs like never before", he said.

For Maldonalle, FURIA marks a significant change in his discography and evolution as an artist. "It's been a hell of a journey, you know. And I have learned a lot with the process. So this time I took a few highlights and tried to mix it with new stuff", he said. "I think FURIA is something really different that marks a rupture for me. There's a lot of options from now on and I think that's the way now. It really fits in a heavy modern and overall context."

Maldonalle hopes that his fans will connect with the new release, particularly with the addition of vocals. "The fact that it's the first album with voice (4 songs with vocals) defines a lot of things. And I'm trying to step Godar forward in a new level of songwriting process. FURIA is heavier than the previous albums and probably it will connect a lot of people."

Fans can expect to hear FURIA on all digital platforms as well as on CD when it is released on March 17th. With its heavy modern sound and intense themes, FURIA is sure to be a hit among metal fans.
