Gladenfold new single "For My Queen" and music video released

The Finnish power metal squad is back with a new single “For My Queen”. The song is essentially a catchy power metal tune to the core, subtly covered with nuance-rich layers of epicness and melancholy, and loaded with a massive chorus that gets stuck in one’s head.

Drummer Lauri Itälä comments: “For My Queen truly embraces the power metal roots of Gladenfold, giving some hints of what you can expect for the next album. It has all the key elements for an epic power metal song: fast tempo with sick double bass drumming, high and loud vocals, rich guitar riffs and versatile keyboard lines.”Guitarist Matias Knuuttila adds:“To be honest, the song was a nightmare to arrange. It took numerous iterations until the melodies, riffs and lyrics found their final form in this puzzle. The challenge was to include some ambitious parts and musical motifs that sounded inherently Gladenfold without losing the catchy identity of the song. After all, I can proudly state that this is one of our best songs to date".“For My Queen” is the first chapter of a story from a forthcoming concept album the band is currently finalizing, scheduled for Spring 2026.
