Gospel Sensation Joshua Ali is “Walking in Freedom”

Trinidadian Gospel sensation Joshua Ali takes off with his new release “Walking In Freedom,” now available worldwide from all major digital retailers (released January 29, 2016), from FOX FUSE. This is Ali’s first release with FOX FUSE and “Walking In Freedom” takes flight as it is currently charting in the top 100 on the iTunes Trinidad and Tobago Reggae Top Songs chart.

Having collaborated with the likes of acclaimed Caribbean Gospel star Sherwin Gardner and Uche Agu and Royalties from Africa, Ali’s has orchestrated a signature sound that fuses Caribbean soca flavors with contemporary and traditional Gospel sentiments, molding all into a niche genre he terms alternative Gospel. “Walking In Freedom” delivers an up-tempo soca melody backed by inspiring lyrics, and was co-written by Ali and Gardner. The track is causing a stir in the Gospel circuit at home and across the Caribbean, and now debuts to the international masses.

Earning his musical stripes as a child in the church, Ali honed his skills as a producer first before evolving into a performer in 2015, and has rapidly become a sensation in the Caribbean Gospel music scene. Later this year, he is set to take his sounds far and wide, as he will be touring through the Caribbean and Tel Aviv in Israel, a first for a Trinidadian music concert. He is also set to release his upcoming movie, GONE- Rapture of the Church, as he shares his time with music as a budding filmmaker.
