Groove Cruise announces daily interactive themes  for each day & night of the 2026 event; including  Down The Rabbit Hole, Shimmerverse & more

Whet Travel’s flagship event, Groove Cruise, has just announced eight interactive themes for the sold-out 2026 event, sailing from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, from Thursday, January 22 to Monday, January 26, 2026, on Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas. From Crowns & Corsets to Food Fetish to Turquoise Temptation and more, each day of Groove Cruise promises multiple ways to express your best self.

Selling out six months in advance, the 2026 edition will make history as the largest music cruise ever. As a cornerstone of the Groove Cruise community, every year the festival hosts two daily themes, one each for both daytime and evening, fostering an inclusive and creative atmosphere for its beloved “Captains.”

The floating festival will kick off on Thursday, January 22 with the annual theme of Represent, where attendees can wear something to represent their hometown or favorite sports team. First-time Groove Cruise attendees or “Virgins” are encouraged to wear white. Additionally, returning Groove Cruise attendees can elect to wear a specific color based on how many Groove Cruise events they’ve attended.

The evening theme will be Crowns & Corsets—encouraging attendees to don steel-boned lace, velvet trains, golden headpieces, and crystal tiaras. You’re self-made royalty on a treasure hunt for the unknown. Every hallway is a secret corridor; every stranger wears a clue.

The following day, Groove Cruise will showcase two vibrant themes for attendees to enjoy. The daytime theme is Food Fetish; whether you waddle up in a hot-sauce cape or strut in a donut tutu, nothing is too deliciously deranged. The point? Embrace the ridiculous, shatter every comfort zone, and taste freedom in technicolor sprinkles.

In the evening, Down The Rabbit Hole will overtake the Wonder of the Seas, transforming the decks into Alice’s Wonderland, where logic bends and wonder reigns. Neon mushrooms, pocket-watch vests, Cheshire grins. It is your time to embrace every bizarre inch. The deck morphs into a kaleidoscope where your truest self finally takes the mic.

For the destination day on Saturday, January 24th, attendees will disembark at the idyllic location of Nassau with the theme of "Turquoise Temptation," a theme that perfectly matches the waters they can splash in all day. The beach day will inspire captains to wear aqua sarongs, teal swim shorts, and turquoise body glitter; you'll become one with the ocean until you can’t tell skin from sea.

Back on the ship, the late-night hours will showcase the spicy theme Midnight Seduction - celebrating your more intimate side. Silk masks, midnight latex, raven feathers. Shadows merge, boundaries blur, and the tribe becomes one dark, thumping heartbeat.

The fourth and final day will feature the daytime theme of Animal Instincts - welcome to the wild side where you can channel your spirit creature and roam the decks in playful packs. Picture leopard suits, feathered wings, luminescent scales, and more.

To close out the 2026 cruise, attendees can revel in the Shimmerverse—where glitter rains, lights gleam, and waves shimmer. Ride the infinity wave through endless dancing, where the beat glows and the magic never fades.

The festival will also feature performances from a myriad of electronic music acts including ÆON:MODE, Aimmia, Airrica, Amidy, Amy Wiles, Angrybaby, Anthony Attalla, Ayybo, Azzecca, Blanke, Blastoyz, Blossom, Cassian, Chris Lorenzo, Christoph, Darude, Daxson, Deeper Purpose, DJ Susan, Dreya V, Fallon, Gene Farris, Girl Math, Green Velvet, Jackie Hollander, Jason Ross, Jigitz, Joel Corry, Joshwa, Kyle Watson, Last Heros, Layton Giordani, Le Youth, Leena Punks, Lilly Palmer, Linksa, Loofy, Luci, Markus Schulz, Mashbit, Max Low, Max Styler, Me N Ü, Mitis, N2N, Nala, NOTD, Ranger Trucco, SABAI, Sam Blacky, Sarah De Warren, Script, Sistek, Skilah, Star Seed, Swimming Paul, Tara Brooks, The Sponges, TOBEHONEST, Torren Foot, Trivecta, VAVO, Vini Vici, VNSSA, Wakyin, and many more.
