Hammerhead changes to Schizophrenia

After some copyright issues and some serious thinking, the Thrash Metal band formerly known as Hammerhead decided to change it's name into Schizophrenia. This will mark the beginning of a new era for the band after some complications with the old band name.

The band ‘Hammerhead’ was forced to change their name due copy rights. Finding a badass new band name was everything except easy. They had to have a band name which pronounced aggression, fear and anger. And which would sound like giving a punch in the face. The new name also marks the new era since Ricky and Romeo both joined the band a year ago. But most importantly it describes the way they perform and sound. Schizophrenia was chosen as reminder to the second ‘Sepultura’ album which is still one of their main influences today.

"Aggression Force"

To put a little extra to the new band name, Schizophrenia is also releasing a videoclip for their song "Aggression Force". The full version will be released on 5th July 2016. But you can already watch the teaser!
