Hannah Epperson launches new single ‘Circles (Amelia)’!

Armed with her violin, loop pedal and voice, sonic weaver Hannah Epperson played numerous concerts across Europe in early 2016 and elated the audiences. With her touching tones she casted a spell on everyone attending her shows.

But Hannah Epperson is way more than a „quiet“ neo-classical artist. All her songs also exist as pop versions and unfold a captivating dynamic in this vesture. So it’s only consequent to release both versions as a two-piece album project called Slowdown // Upsweep. On each album there will be songs in a pop format (Amelia) and in a reduced neo-classical format (Iris).

Today sees the launch of ‘Circles (Amelia)’, another single of the pop side of her album. 'Circles (Amelia)' is a rounding off completion of the album ‘Upsweep' of sorts. Clear structures and melodies: it seems that as this point a great deal has been resolved between the characters of Amelia and Iris in the mind of protagonist Skyler. Or is this just a snapshot in time? 'Circles (Amelia)' bribes us with buoyancy and infectious rhythms. A transparent pop song by an artist that is anything but ordinary. Hannah Epperson shows with 'Circles (Amelia') her profound artistic complexity. A comparison to the sister song 'Circles (Iris)' reveals the quality of her impressive concept album Upsweep to the listener.

The Album ‘Upsweep’ has been released on September 16th.

Right after the release of the album Hannah Epperson started an extensive European tour with more than 30 concerts. Hannah will be in concert at Huis 23 in Brussels this Thursday October the 6th.
