Jungle share new single ‘The Wave’,
BRIT Award winning and global arena headliners, Jungle share new single ‘The Wave’, the latest track from their upcoming album ‘Sunshine’, out August 14th. It follows on from ‘Carry On’, which was premiered as Radio 1’s Hottest Record before quickly amassing more than 13 million streams and playlist support across Radio 1, Radio 2 and Virgin Radio.
Jungle - J Lloyd, Tom McFarland and Lydia Kitto - took inspiration for ‘The Wave’ from the Brazilian music scene of the ‘60s and ‘70s, channeling the warmth and musicality of that era into a distinctly sleek production. Lyrically it is about finding the strength to persevere with a relationship as it goes through challenges - a dose of optimism in the face of tough times.
Sunshine’ is available to pre-order/pre-save HERE, with physical formats including black 180g single gatefold LP, Desert Peach single gatefold LP, translucent brown marble single gatefold LP and digipak CD.
Jungle’s ‘Sunshine’ world tour features huge arena dates spanning North America, the UK, Europe and Australia, including two homecoming shows at London’s O2 after a second date was added due to demand.
Remaining tickets for the tour are available HERE.
OVER JUNGLE
Jungle were formed in London in 2013 by Tom McFarland and J Lloyd, before their regular collaborator Lydia Kitto became an official member of the group in 2024. Matching a euphoric concoction of modern disco, soul and hip-hop with exemplary visual content defined by world-class choreography, they shot to attention with their self-titled UK Top 10 debut album in 2014. Their rise continued with another Top 10 with 2018’s ‘For Ever’ and then ‘Loving In Stereo’ which hit #3 in 2021.
2023 saw Jungle become a global force with ‘Volcano’. Reaching #3 in the UK, the album featured their biggest hit to date in the shape of ‘Back On 74’ which has been certified Platinum in both the UK and US. The campaign saw Jungle rise to sell-out arenas all over the world, playing to hundreds of thousands of fans across 2023/24 with highlights including The O2 in London, Coachella and headlining All Points East.
