Hardcore band Hold My Own release new album PAY NO MIND on DAZE

Today, HOLD MY OWN release their first full length album, PAY NO MIND, through DAZE. Formed in 2021, the Chicago meets New Jersey band’s heavy hitting hardcore has roared across four EPs and a split, and impacted stages across the country touring with bands like Terror, Madball, and End It. With PAY NO MIND, HOLD MY OWN set out to write a 100% hardcore record that is true to their sound. On the premise of PAY NO MIND, guitarist Anchit Chhabra shares:

“The album is basically what the title track says: don’t pay attention to anyone or anything else. Do everything your own way, no matter what.”

Across the album, HOLD MY OWN deliver massive walls of sound creating depth through guitar riffs and solos and towering gang vocals. Guest features from Sunami’s Josef Alfonso, Bulldoze’s George Puda, and Fatal Realm’s Mike Shaw add extra fury to the band’s explosive sonic delivery. PAY NO MIND was was engineered, recorded, and mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording, with vocals were engineered and recorded by Jayway at Bayway Studios, and mastering was done by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.

HOLD MY OWN is currently wrapping up a U.S. tour with Snuffed On Sight and Bayway. The band will head to Europe with Outta Pocket in May. Dates below.
