Hexis & Telos announce 5” split out August 18th via Init Records
Both hailing from the danish underground, HEXIS & TELOS join forces on a 5” vinyl split, released via Init Records, pressed in 500 copies on ultra clear vinyl in inside-out gatefold packaging. With a maximum length of 1 minutes and 40 seconds per side, the limitations of the media served as a creative guide and has conjured forth the most visceral take on each outfit’s sound yet.

In the world of DIY music, HEXIS needs no introduction; self-taught, self-made and constantly on the road. With over 1000 shows under their belt in all corners of the world. Their latest full-length album “Aeternum” released in August 2022. Side A on the split contains HEXIS’ “Fallaciae”; a whirlwind in a forward momentum of hardcore infused black metal. “Fallaciae” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio Fredman by the legendary metal producer Fredrik Nordström.
TELOS practices a seldom seen mix of mathcore, sludge and blackened hardcore. Consists of members of LLNN, EYES, Demersal and Regarding Ambiguity as well as former members of HEXIS. Almost antithetic to HEXIS, TELOS’ approach to DIY music is found in the studio as well as artwork.
Their latest full-length “Delude” released in March 2023.
Side B contains TELOS’ “Defeatist”; a chaotic, dynamic and winding blackened mathcore track. “Defeatist” was recorded by TELOS and Valdemar Støvring Sørensen, mixed by Valdemar Støvring Sørensen and mastered by Jacob Bredahl at Dead Rat Studio.
