Hollow Coves have teamed up with US folk singer/songwriter Priscilla Ahn for their latest single, “Lonely Nights,”

Australian indie folk duo Hollow Coves (Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins) have teamed up with US folk singer/songwriter Priscilla Ahn for their latest single, “Lonely Nights,” a song that started as a lament for home while the duo was on tour in Europe, but has since taken on a whole new meaning.

The band says, “When we first wrote ‘Lonely Nights,’ we were on tour in Europe and missing home. We were reminiscing on times spent with friends and lamenting missing events. Now I can’t help but think that this is a feeling that so many people would have experienced, and may still be experiencing, through the COVID lockdowns and times of isolation. I hope this song is somehow able to give people a sense of peace and hope for the future.”

“Lonely Nights” is accompanied by a music video that was shot on 16MM Bolex in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, a gorgeous and quiet fishing village turned premier surfing destination that has been home to the Olympus National Surfing Circuit Competition. The images evoke a sense of wanderlust and a hopeful look to future adventures.
