Hollywood Porn Stars releases Endless Age

Formed in Liège in 2002, Hollywood Porn Stars made an immediate impact: just three months after coming together, the band won the Concours Circuit and signed with French label Naïve, which released their records and handled their international distribution. Their taut, melodic indie rock combines raw energy, razor-sharp guitars and more melancholic melodies.

Over the next few years, Hollywood Porn Stars played more than 300 shows and released two albums. The band appeared at numerous European venues and festivals, including Ancienne Belgique, Dour, Pukkelpop, Les Ardentes, Eurosonic, The Great Escape, Haldern Pop, Paléo, Les Vieilles Charrues and Solidays. Along the way, they shared bills with Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Sonic Youth, Primal Scream and LCD Soundsystem. Their live performances also earned them an Octave de la Musique for Best Live Band.

Two albums and extensive touring established Hollywood Porn Stars as part of the 2000s indie-rock landscape. Songs such as “Actarus,” “Starwest” and “Fugitive” defined that era through radio airplay, music television and soundtrack placements. After those particularly intense years, the members focused on other projects, including Piano Club and My Little Cheap Dictaphone, as well as developing the independent label JauneOrange.

In 2025, Hollywood Porn Stars returned to the stage to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Year Of The Tiger, playing a run of festivals and sold-out venues across Belgium. Rediscovering the joy of playing together quickly sparked the desire to go further: in spring 2026, the band wrote Endless Age in around two weeks and recorded it in five days.

This third album now opens a new chapter. Hollywood Porn Stars reconnect with the immediate energy that has always driven the band, eager to bring these new songs to the stage. The first announced shows quickly sold out, and the band recently joined Le Cèpe Records, a fiercely rock’n’roll independent label that will support the French release of Endless Age.

Endless Age

Endless Age marks the band’s return on record with a third album, their first in twenty years, but one conceived without nostalgia: a direct record, written and recorded with urgency and looking firmly ahead. The ghost that accompanies the album is not a symbol of disappearance. Instead, it represents what endures: a presence moving through eras, memories and transformations. Both witness to and prisoner of time, it also embodies former versions of ourselves, the traces we leave behind, and what remains authentic amid the noise and upheaval of our age.

The lyrics explore appearances and illusion (”Bad Movie”), power dynamics (”Wicked King”), repeating cycles (”Year Of The Snake”), the bonds we pass on (”Call Them After Me”), and humanity’s place in an ever-faster changing world (”Endless Age”). Behind them lies the same question: what remains when everything evolves? The horses in the visual world embody vital energy, movement and the force of life.

Set against the motionless ghost, they represent the impulse to keep moving forward. Endless Age evokes a permanent state: an era in which everything seems to change constantly, yet the same questions, fears, desires and human relationships return generation after generation.
