Homecoming : stream new video "Shores" now!

Progressive metal/post-metal quartet HOMECOMING deliver a new video shot during recording sessions at La Canopée Studio, in Chatenay Malabry (France). It is available exclusively over at Everything Is Noise before its March 29th release. New album 'Those We Knew' is coming out on April 19th via Copper Feast Records.

New video "Shores" is a dive into the band's creative process in the studio. It showcases HOMECOMING's well-honed personality, brilliantly fusing grunge, 90s rock and progressive metal. Upcoming album ‘Those We Knew’ highlights remarkable vocal work that guides the listener through various musical tableaux. The vocals adapt to the moods and unite the tracks, tying together the influences. Discovering ‘Those We Knew’, we can easily imagine Alice In Chains featuring Tool or Cult Of Luna. The gloomy, heavy, sometimes hushed 90s tones collide with endless imagination, peppered by ethereal atmospheres, enticing introspection.

Says Théo Alves Guiter (vocals/guitar): "'Those We Knew' is an album about grief, uncertainty and the inability to give up hope. Above all, it represents the deepening of our sonic exploration as well as the affirmation of our identity as a band. Written shortly after 'LP01', while a part of the album continues to expand upon its tones and colours, the addition of a second composing guitarist allowed us to broaden our perspectives. This coalesced into a soundscape which is as varied and contradictory as we are, a gateway through which we invite you to tread."

HOMECOMING's upcoming album 'Those We Knew' arrives on April 19th 2024 via UK imprint Copper Feast Records at the following formats: LP, CD, streaming, download. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Francis Caste (Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, Hangman’s Chair) at Sainte-Marthe Studios in Paris, France. The artwork cover was crafted by Vaderetro Studio.

Since 2017, Parisian post-metal quartet HOMECOMING experiment as much as they navigate between different styles, drawing inspiration from sludge, grunge, 90s alt-rock and progressive metal. The key to the success of this unlikely fusion? Unfailing coherence, underpinned by a miracle recipe: blistering riffs, melodious or ultra-violent vocals, out-of-control drums, and a whole arsenal of better-than-average ideas that help to create an outstanding soundscape.

HOMECOMING's ambitious debut album, aptly titled "LP01", was released in December 2019 on a self-production basis. Spotted by tour promoter Hello Euphoria, the quartet crossed the French borders, hitting the roads of Europe until arriving on the stages of leading heavy music festival Desertfest London (in May 2023). Shortly after, they sign to UK label Copper Feast Records for the release of their second studio effort, 'Those We Knew' on April 19th 2024. The whole thing is off to a flying start.
