Swiss/French black metallers I C No have brought forward the release date of Le dernier qui s'en va éteint la lumière to March 21 (previously set for March 28).

I C No is a Swiss/French metal project set to release their 2025 album, Le dernier qui s'en va éteint la lumière (The last one to leave turns off the light), weaving dark atmospheres with socio-political commentary, introspection, technologism, and biting cynicism.

The band features Ksar (guitar, bass, programming, mixing, mastering), Orcus the Heretic (vocals, also in Mythark), Grungy (primary lyricist and ex-vocalist of Rawwar), and Nika (drums, also in Chaos Rising, Acroma, Sacred Darkness, The Nothing, and Cursed Be). Their French-language lyrics explore themes of societal collapse, personal struggle, and cultural critique, all channeled through a raw, intense metal sound.

Balancing elements of traditional, atmospheric, and post-black metal, I C No aims to bring something new to the scene. The group seeks to deliver a tortuous brand of black metal, complete with haunting or aggressive melodies and a vocal range spanning death, black, and grind. By pushing the boundaries of extreme music, I C No strives to craft a distinctive, immersive sonic identity.
