Indheo shares guide for creating AI music videos

Experience gained with new single ‘Fire Escape’

Chilean alt-metal outfit Indheo has just premiered their latest single, ‘Fire Escape’, featuring a music video generated entirely through artificial intelligence. Following this milestone, the band has opted to release a comprehensive technical guide, allowing fellow independent artists to replicate the process on a shoestring budget.

“The video was fully produced by the band using Amazon’s AI tools (AWS Bedrock Kiro), covering everything from lyrical interpretation to storyboarding and visual generation. The entire production cost a mere 23 dollars, proving that this technology is a game-changer for the underground and indie scenes”, says Felipe Chirinos, the band’s drummer and an Amazon collaborator.

Beyond the song’s narrative, the video serves as a proof of concept for the democratization of audiovisual production, stripping away the financial gatekeeping of traditional studios. Indheo’s approach treats AI as the new diy frontier, an artistic tool for the modern creator. The band has documented every step in a public guide:

‘Fire Escape’ was originally composed years ago in Santiago, Chile, during an earlier era of the band. After sitting as a demo for years, Indheo has breathed new life into the track using cutting-edge tools to overhaul both the sonic and visual presentation. The single -a precursor to their upcoming LP due late this year- is a deep emotional journey through cycles of pain and the search for light within the darkness, leading to eventual rebirth.

“This single is our reinvention. It’s the bridge between our roots and our future. We took a song with immense emotional weight and elevated it using tech that simply didn’t exist when we started. We’ve proven that any band can achieve professional results without a massive budget”, the group states.
