Indie dance sensation Alex Cecil returns  with the blissfully feelgood track ‘Promises’ 

Ace producer DJ Alex Cecil is back with the summery ‘Promises’ a gorgeously melodic slice of pure dancefloor sunshine. Released on the uber-hip imprint Exx Underground (nominated this year as Beatport’s Best Hype Label of the Year), ‘Promises’ combines elements of melodic house, space disco and synthwave into a blissfully feelgood dancefloor concoction.

One of the most in-demand DJs on the underground scene with regular gigs at Burning Man, Floyd Miami, House Of Yes NY, Cecil is known for his impeccably eclectic styles and has hit #1 on the Traxsource techno chart off his very first release.

Cecil grew up surrounded by music, becoming an accomplished cellist, who played Carnegie Hall at a young age, while spending his nights absorbing the vibrant New York City club scene, where his father was a local impresario (co-owner of the fabled early-2000s Club OHM) and his cousin Tucker Halpern later formed the acclaimed Grammy-nominated electro-pop duo Sofi Tukker (signed to Ultra / Sony).
