Up Close & Campy - Live experiences reimagined

PA - Up Close & Campy is launching a new kind of live entertainment experience, blending intimate performances, storytelling, comedy, recreation, and the nostalgia of summer camp into unforgettable intimate all-inclusive weekend experiences.

Created through a collaboration between Full Access Strategy and Burgers & Dogs, the series takes place at Camp Starlight in Pennsylvania, and was inspired by the idea of combining memorably immersive artist experiences with the emotional connection people carry from childhood summer camps.

Up Close & Campy is about creating the kind of moments people remember forever. It’s singing around a fire, hearing stories you’d never hear in a traditional venue, laughing with strangers who become friends, and stepping away from normal life for a weekend that feels truly personal.

The all-inclusive experience includes lodging, chef-prepared meals, intimate performances, outdoor activities, and opportunities to connect with artists in a relaxed, welcoming setting. While travel to Camp Starlight is not included in the ticket price, getting there is easy with optional transportation services, including a private charter bus from nearby metro areas such as New York City, as well as convenient access from several regional airports within driving distance.

The series launched this past June with an intimate campfire experience featuring Brett Dennen, dubbed ‘Camp Dennen’ which will make its return in 2027 (dates TBA).

Up Close & Campy was created through a collaboration between Full Access Strategy, founded by music manager and Camp Starlight owner David Miller, and Burgers & Dogs, led by experiential event producer Jordan Burger, the series takes place at Camp Starlight in Pennsylvania. The concept blends Miller’s decades of experience operating one of the country’s premier summer camps with Burger’s expertise in creating immersive fan experiences, resulting in weekends that combine intimate performances with the nostalgia, camaraderie, and adventure of summer camp.
