Irish solo artist, Ruth Mac signs to Beth Shalom Records and announce her Debut EP

Berlin-based Irish music, Ruth Mac, has announced her new single Living Room set to be released through Beth Shalom Records on September 1st. The single is the lead single and title-track from Mac's forthcoming debut EP, set for release in late 2021. Living Room is an infectious indie-disco track from the Berlin-based Irish musician(/Galway native.) A sunkissed zinger, Mac’s well-crafted lyrics dance around a steady disco pulse, lush / surfesque guitars and (dreamy) keys.

A joyous ode to the everyday, the track was born of a burst of positivity during the drearily long lockdown Mac spent in a one-room apartment in Kreuzberg, Berlin.

Discussing the brand new single, Mac stated; “It was a time when the living room became so much more than the living room- it was our dancefloor, our office, our studio... always remaining a cosy hideaway in a weird ol’ time. There was a lot of love in those four walls and the song spilled out in a moment of gratitude for this shared haven.”
