Jack Broadbent 'If': video for single taken from acclaimed new album by blues/folk singer-songwriter & guitarist + UK tour news
Jack Broadbent released his acclaimed new album ‘Moonshine Blue’ in November 2019 on CD and digitally, and played a number of dates with Ronnie Wood to support its initial UK release. A vinyl format of the record has now been made available to coincide with a single from the album entitled ‘If’ and the announcement of five UK shows in May with Peter Frampton that precede his appearance at the Black Deer Festival in Kent in mid-June.
The young singer-songwriter has already been wowing audiences internationally for years with his unique blend of virtuosic acoustic and slide guitar playing, as well as his poignant folk and blues inspired vocals. His fourth studio release, ‘Moonshine Blue’ is a sylistically wide-ranging set of songs of which Broadbent says: “I’ve always seen my writing as a chance to cross genres and styles so for me this album is no different. I wanted to pull in more of my passion for folk and jazz into this record while still keeping the blues very close to its heart. I try not to dictate an album based on any musical continuity. I like to let the right songs find their way to the top of the pile.”
