Jamie Woon returns with 'Sharpness' from a forthcoming follow-up to 2011's Mirrorwriting

It’s been four years since Jamie Woon released his debut album Mirrorwriting. Today he officially revealed the first single taken from a soon to be announced new album due for release later in 2015 on new label home, PMR Records. Listen to Sharpness below, and check out the single artwork above.

It was Pharrell who introduced Sharpness to the world on his Beats 1 radio show a few weeks ago, followed quickly by his friends and previous collaborators, Disclosure when they took the track into Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show. Listen to a snippet of Sharpness HERE

In the time since Mirrorwriting, Jamie has spent time exploring his writing and recording with new collaborators. His new full-length sees him maintaining the same distinctive Woon sound and thoughtful/crafted songwriting but opting for a live and up-close approach to the rhythm section, steering away from his previous mostly electronic underpinning.

Sharpness will be available to buy and stream from August 11th.
