Jazzygold Releases Fierce New Remix "CAKE (BADDIES EDITION)" Of Previously Released Single "CAKE"

Faroese Pop-R&B sensation jazzygold is thrilled to unveil “CAKE (BADDIES EDITION)”, a bold reimagining of her previously released anthem “CAKE”, out now via Tutl Records.

If the original “CAKE” was sweet with a sting, the “BADDIES EDITION” is a full-blown feast. jazzygold teams up with two of her closest friends, and powerhouse Faroese artists, Marianna Winter and Tamara Mneney to serve an even bolder, sassier take on her unapologetic anthem.

Layering smooth harmonies, playful ad-libs, and each artist’s own bite of attitude, this remix transforms CAKE into a fierce three-way clapback. It’s a celebration of friendship, solidarity, and the kind of confidence that only grows when women lift each other up.

From Marianna’s velvet vocals to Tamara’s striking delivery, every verse adds new flavour— making this track impossible to ignore. The beat still bounces, the message still hits, but now it comes with triple the personality. So let them talk, let them watch, and let them really eat cake—because this time, the table’s set for three.

jazzygold is the artist project of Jasmin Mote. Her unique blend of RnB and soulpop is unmistakable, characterised by her candid lyrics, soulful voice, and captivating visuals. Her music is honest, and that authenticity shines through in her voice, lyrics, and sound.

As a woman of colour from the Faroe Islands, jazzygold embarked on her musical project to provide a mirror for young girls like her, both in her country and worldwide. Growing up, she lacked role models who looked like her in the music industry, and she’s now committed to changing the narrative. She’s determined to be that beacon of inspiration, proving that no matter where you come from, you can achieve greatness.

Since announcing her solo project in January 2023, jazzygold has been unstoppable. She debuted at the Trondheim Calling showcase festival in Norway just a month later and has since performed at numerous prestigious events. Highlights of her whirlwind year include The Great Escape in England, Iceland Airwaves, Eurosonic in the Netherlands, and Waves Vienna. She also graced the stages of The G! Festival in the Faroe Islands and Moldejazz in Norway. She released her acclaimed debut EP, ”it’s been a while”, in February 2025.
