Jen releases Strange Addiction

The Belgian pop-rock artist JEN, the alter ego of 23-year-old Jente Neels, is releasing her third single, ‘Strange Addiction’. After her successful debut ‘Painkiller’, which immediately earned her the title of ‘De Belofte’ from Willy, JEN reaffirms her place as a rising talent within the Belgian music scene. With her energetic sound and a strong live band, she proves her unique talent for powerful pop with an edgy twist.

‘Strange Addiction’ explores the fascination with unusual addictions. Ranging from love to substance use, from attention to social media. JEN describes the irresistible desire for things that feel strange yet satisfying: “They’re the things people crave, even when you know they’re not good for you.”

Since her debut, JEN has quickly made a name for herself. She has already shared the stage with artists like Sylvie Kreusch and Jan Verstraeten. This year, she’s further strengthening her live reputation by supporting acts such as Pommelien Thijs, Milo Meskens, Sloper and PEER. With Pommelien, she’ll be performing eight times, including four sold-out shows at Ancienne Belgique!
