Joan As Police Woman releases new single 'TELL ME'

With her forthcoming effort Damned Devotion, Joan As Police Woman delves deeper into the emotional subjects she’s never been afraid to address in the first place. The album will find Joan Wasser at her rawest, most pensive and even her most free—she maintains her timeless melodies but couples them with experimental percussive elements, which she programs with the help of drummer Parker Kindred. The rhythms build a strong foundation for her stirring lyricism and effervescent keys from Thomas Bartlett, as evident in her newest single ‘Tell Me’

“I am always wanting more intimate dialogue. Fear of being vulnerable, future tripping and feelings of shame, paranoia and jealousy get in the way. “You got to separate now what’s real, what’s not real” = stop using jealousy (not real) as a way to avoid having to clarify and tell me what you really want (real). Why don’t we try trusting each other enough to be fully transparent? What is there to lose?”
