The sonic journey of ‘BLUTOKYO_’ interweaves with Kang’s images to narrate the life cycle of BLUE, a sweet ethereal shade, present in the breath of every natural day, which caresses, through light and its refractions, the imagination of human sensibility, immersed in the cosmic horizon of this colour. The visual part of ‘BLUTOKYO_’ appears, for the first time, in its entirety, within the documentary JOYCUT ROBERT SMITH'S MELTDOWN, captured during the band's one-off performance within the setting of the Purcell Room SouthBankCentre in London.

‘TheBluWave [TimesWhenSilenceIsAPoem - TheIceHasMelted - AndBleedingGlaciersFormOurTears]_’, is a double album, 76 minutes of music divided into four acts over four sides on vinyl, “dedicated to those who love to linger on the ways of introversion. Explorations dedicated to the experience of abstraction, disorientation, travel, return,” says the band. An elaboration process that goes from their sold-out Venice Biennale show to the exclusive performance during Robert Smith's Meltdown. In the band’s own words is, “an intertwining of orchestral saturations and sonic expansions imbued with narrative rhythmic landscapes, moving passages that in a low voice aim at lightness, at liberation from this civilization. There is a lot of East Africa, there is absence, there is sublime, yet the depth of these ideological abysses does not scare us, on the contrary, it asks us to peek, to get closer ".
