Katzenjammer announces new album Rockland

Norwegian four piece Katzenjammer is nothing if not distinctive. The four girls from Norway play a diverse blend of country, folk, blues, pop and rock. From being invited to play David Byrne’s personally curated stage at Bonnaroo to Australia’s Woodford Folk Festival, the quartet have enraptured a countless number with their genre-mixing, instrument-swapping and riotous shows. Their 2008 debut, Le Pop, showed that they were as fun on record as live and 2011’s A Kiss Before You Go was a symphonic journey through the emotions, full of vigour and vocal harmonies. Throughout this all they have done things their own way.

The band returns internationally in 2015 with a follow up to platinum selling album ‘A Kiss Before You Go’. The enigmatic multi-instrumentalists have set a date of mid-January for the release of ‘Rockland’, which promises to be their most refined and accomplished album to date.
