Kay tear shares Pop-R&B Single "FRIEND THAT TASTES GOOD"

Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Kay tear is proud to announce new single “FRIEND THAT TASTES GOOD” featuring Cyan Sueño. The song showcases her ability to fuse intricate musical arrangements with candid lyricism, offering a fresh take on modern relationships. Due for release February 26th, “FRIEND THAT TASTES GOOD” is a testament to Kay tear’s evolving artistry and fearless exploration of human connection.

Kay tear (Kati儿) is a Chinese American genre-blending artist, composer, educator, and producer who strongly believes in the power of a beginning, climax, and end. Trained in classical piano and composition, she loves to merge elements of R&B, city pop, Romantic Classical, and ambient soundscapes to create a cinematic experience. In Kay's live performances, she guides listeners through a meditation that is accompanied by her piano improvisation, vibrant and warm speech, encouraging listeners to focus on the present moment and develop appreciation for their full range of emotions. It's the same feeling conveyed through her entirely self-produced debut album, through different mediums. She creates rises and falls in her playing and music production that emulate phenomena in nature. It's all to foster a feeling of gratitude, love, and acceptance--things that this world sorely needs right now.
