King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announce ‘I’m In Your Mind Fuzz’

Australia’s King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced details of a new album, their debut release for Heavenly Recordings. I’m In Your Mind Fuzz will be released on December 1, 2014 on vinyl, CD and download. The album is released in the US on Castle Face Records. Released on the same day is lead single, Cellophane, a track which Stereogum described in its recent premiere as a “whimsically spazzy fantastic voyage in miniature”. This Australian beast of a band, with a bear of a name and a thick herd of band members, deliver many things on this warped album - a skeleton of propulsive kraut-beat fleshed out with a liberal dose of citric sweetness, flutes and harmonicas, a ton of wah, many lovely left turns of delicate psych and a dash of DMT dread.

The band head to the US in October to tour with White Fence. They also play a show at New York’s Terminal 5 supporting Mac DeMarco and Connan Mockasin and are set to appear this year's CMJ festival.
