With their forthcoming studio album on the horizon, Kraak & Smaak are back with single ‘Same Blood’, the third from their forthcoming album project ‘Pleasure Centre’ and featuring emotive vocals from West Coast two piece, ‘The Palms’.

Releasing on their very own label Boogie Angst, the sound of ‘Same Blood’, alike the album, carries a strong West Coast vibe. This is no mere emulation or happy accident as many of the featured artists on the album, The Palms included, are LA residents.

Calming nuanes of electronica are brought to the fore by Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug, that is Kraak & Smaak. Unlike the beach lined surroundings of thier featuring artists, the trio hail from the town of Leiden, Netherlands. Their yacht rock and pop influences provide a perfect backdrop to The Palms vocals on ‘Same Blood’.
