Kraut Rockers BLKE Announce Debut Album. First Video Single Released.
BLKE is a Berlin-based psych-noise rock band formed out of London’s underground, operating at the intersection of raw intensity and hypnotic repetition. Drawing from krautrock, noise rock, garage punk, and psychedelia, their sound is visceral, physical, and emotionally charged – built for both dark rooms and expansive stages.
On May 22, 2026 BLKE will release their self-titled debut album on Tonzonen Records. Stream the first single Satellite here: https://cargorecordsde.ffm.to/blke-satellite Watch the music video for Satellite below.
Led by German artist Jakob Buraczewski, BLKE have built a reputation for uncompromising live performances across the UK and Europe, sharing stages with Helicon (Fuzz Club), Verstärker (Fuzz Club), Body Horror (Permanent Creeps), and The Shadracks (Sub Pop). Their music balances controlled chaos with deep atmosphere, driven by motorik rhythms, abrasive guitar textures, and immersive sonic weight.
In 2025, BLKE released their debut EP Living Without Expectations. The release positioned the band as a compelling new voice within Europe’s alternative underground.
BLKE tell us about the first single Satellite: "Originally recorded years earlier, “Satellite” was reworked with the full band for this release. The updated arrangement adds synths and a revised tempo, giving the song a sense of lift and distance. Lyrically, it depicts failed communication and emotional detachment. The satellite becomes a symbol of presence without true connection."

INow entering a new phase, BLKE are preparing the release of their first full-length album – a darker, more focused, and expansive body of work that deepens their sonic identity while pushing beyond genre boundaries. With a growing international presence and a clear artistic vision, BLKE are building something deliberate, physical, and long-term.
The self-titled debut album comprises nine tracks and offers an immersive entry point into the world of BLKE. Hypnotic in its effect, it reveals its depth through layered lyrics and deliberately deployed psychoacoustic moments. From this emerges a renewed poetic movement that draws on and reflects experiences and moods from the band’s social environment over the past four years, retold under the artistic direction of Berlin-based artist Jakob Buraczewski. A poetic anecdote that is at once psychedelically introspective and resonates long after with a raw, kraut-inspired aesthetic.
The new self-titled BLKE album will be out May 22, 2026 on Tonzonen Records. Stay tuned for pre-order links, meanwhile stream the new single Satellite here: https://cargorecordsde.ffm.to/blke-satellite
