Lime Garden returns with new track ‘Moving Target’,

Following the release of their critically-acclaimed sophomore album Maybe Not Tonight (April 10th, So Young Records), Lime Garden are showing no signs of slowing down. The Brighton four-piece return today with exhilarating new track ‘Moving Target’, alongside a mischievous video that finds them taking on a new role as cabin crew on “Wonk Pop Airways”, working the aisles in search of mystery man played by a very special guest, British poet and spoken-word performer Antony Szmierek. It’s a fittingly chaotic, tongue-in-cheek visual for a band at the peak of their powers.

Produced alongside album producer Charlie Andrew (Wolf Alice, Alt-J), the new track zones in on the irresistible temptation of meeting someone new and instantly knowing exactly how it will transpire, but going there anyway. Frontwoman Chloe Howard shares:

"Moving Target is about the feeling of falling in love even when you know it's not going to work out. It's rare to find people you are magnetically drawn to, but when you do – just dive in and brace yourself for whatever happens. Heartbreak is always worth it."

Maybe Not Tonight arrived in April to some of the best reviews of the band’s career – 4.5 stars from NME, DIY and Far Out, a place on both NME's and BBC 6Music's Albums of the Year So Far lists, and an incredible summer of radio backing including a Radio 1 Tune of the Week from Greg James, A-list support at 6Music, and playlisting across Radio 1, Virgin Radio, Radio X and Absolute.

Off the back of a whirlwind summer of festivals, the band are in the middle of their biggest tour yet, taking in the UK, Europe and returning to the US this autumn. ‘Moving Target’ is the latest taste from the infectious four-piece, and the fun is guaranteed to continue.

Lime Garden are Chloe Howard, Leila Deeley, Annabel Whittle and Tippi Morgan. Their second album Maybe Not Tonight was released on 10th April 2026 via So Young Records, following 2024 debut One More Thing, and produced by Charlie Andrew with additional production from Whittle. Unfolding like a night out from start to finish, their sophomore album captures the blur of youth in real time – the rush, the chaos, the self-doubt and the comedown. Expanding far beyond the raw immediacy of their debut, the band step into a more intricate, fully realised sound, expanding their signature “wonk-pop” instincts into something sharper, stranger and more emotionally exposed. Weaving together glitchy vocal fragments, hypnotic drum patterns, wiry guitars and detuned synths into something richly layered yet instinctively immediate, the result is their most intoxicating and luminous material to date.
