L'Imperatrice: new single & video 'FOU' / 'EXIT' out now

The release of the single ‘Exit’ marks the beginning of the collaboration between L’Impératrice and [PIAS] Belgium.

« Fou » (and its English version « Exit ») is the first offering from L'Impératrice following two years of life on the road. Meaning ‘crazy’ in French, it embodies the denouement of a decadent last decade and it promises to be a watchword for the future too. « Fou » is a song that you will have no problems losing yourself to on the dancefloor, with its convulsive rhythms and sonic playfulness - a tune swaying ecstatically in a decompression airlock situated between two glorious eras.

The track has been recorded and produced by Renaud Létang (Feist, Philippe Katerine,...), mixed by Neal Pogue (Tyler The Creator, Janelle Monae, Outkast...) and masterized by Mike Bozzi (Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino...).. "One crown, a thousand faces", between French touch of nineties, modern variety or galactic disco, L'Impératrice has become in a few years one of the pillars of the French pop revival! After the conquest of the United States and a tour of summer festivals with their album "Matahari", the band is now back with new music!
