Five years ago, Julian Perretta all at once appeared in the spotlight with his debut album “Stitch Me Up” and the skyrocketing single “Wonder Why”. The charismatic singer-songwriter and guitarist was only 22 years old. In late 2015, Perretta returned with “Miracle” to conquer the chart’s premier league: The deep house track was supported by Lost Frequencies (“Are You With Me”, “Reality”) and in addition to an iTunes No.1 and Gold in Germany, it went Gold in Belgium and Switzerland as well as Platinum in France.

“Miracle” and the successor “I Cry”, released in June, superbly herald the upcoming new album “Karma”, which documents Julian Perretta’s evolution from pop and rock to electro house. The combination of driving, almost exotic seeming sounds and Perretta’s intense voice undoubtedly is a sensation, which is the most striking element on the new single “Karma” as well. The new record’s title song presents a tantalizing blend of danceable beats and reflective lyrics – and once again aims at a steamy flirt with the European charts.
