Routine is the project of Ukrainian-born, Berlin-based electronic producer and guitarist Anton Koba. Combining vintage synthesizers and electric guitars, Koba creates a unique sound that mixes modern digital elements with rough, old-school tones. His music is inspired by universal themes and social phenomena, resonating deeply with his audience.
Anton Koba places significant emphasis on the visual aspects of his work, consistently engaging his audience with visually captivating video content. Whether it’s a meticulously directed music video or raw live session recordings, Koba’s dedication to his craft is evident. The name "Routine" reflects his belief that life's daily challenges and trials are what help us grow.
The music video for "Get Off Me" takes this idea to an extreme, featuring Koba literally setting himself on fire. This dramatic imagery serves as a metaphor for the protagonist's inner turmoil and aggression, expressed through intense lyrics directed at a love interest. The role of the love interest is played by Berlin-based fashion model Ana Taku, who portrays a chilling scene of nonchalance as she plays with a bloody knife and lights a cigarette with her lover’s hand. Directed by Andrii Kaplia, the video is marked by its dynamic and intense montage, capturing the dark side of human nature and holding the viewer's attention
