Listen to “The One”, the new track from Danish Rock Trio The Boy That Got Away
“The One” feels cut from the same cloth as the bands The Boy That Got Away name as references: Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters. The guitars carry the weight, the vocals sit right in that rough melodic zone, and the song does not try to dress itself up as anything other than rock music played with conviction.
The band features Tim Alvin Boström on vocals and guitar, alongside Mathias Gregersen on bass and Mark Lauersen on drums.
“The One” was recorded at Antfarm Studios, with Tue Madsen handling production and mixing, while Ole Schneider took care of mastering.
