Lone Assembly release their new single "My Life's Solid"!
Lone Assembly usually allow a few pop-infused rays of light to shine through their gothic repertoire, but this time, the band unveils a single that lets very little light in: “My Life's Solid” is a dark song, where the power of their new wave/synth pop is as impressive as ever.
The band once again demonstrates a profound humanity by exploring difficult themes. “My Life's Solid is the vertigo of seeing one's certainties crack. It's a dark and visceral epic about losing your bearings and the need to be seen in an introspective and claustrophobic atmosphere. The chorus bursts forth like a brutal realization: what we thought was ‘solid’ isn't," explains Raphaël Bressler, the band's singer.
With “My Life’s Solid”, the quartet, also composed of Glenn Le Meur (guitar), Jim Bodeman (bass) and Romain Segu (drums), follows up on a series of singles released earlier this year and concerts played across Europe.
